TALKING POINT

Can you manifest your dream job? 🤔

There’s been a lot of talk lately about manifesting the life that you want, and most people start at the core: their job. But can you really manifest your dream career? One that won’t suck the living daylights out of you, and one that you’d be excited to wake up for?! According to some experts, you sure can!

So, what do you need to do to manifest your ideal career? Firstly, it has to be a realistic goal that you can achieve. You can’t become the next Beyoncé if you sound like a drowning cat when you sing 😅

Set realistic goals and believe in yourself! Map out your dream job on a vision board and keep it somewhere accessible, like on your mobile or your desk. Then put your ideas into action by working towards those goals.

Let us know if you’ve manifested anything before by replying to this mail.

TODAY’S ADVICE

Energy flagging? Slack off in style!

In honor of National Goof Off Day, here are some ways to slack off at work (without getting caught!) 🤫

1. Do some life admin: Pay those bills and respond to personal emails. You know, those things you’ve you didn’t get round to doing when you were busy. Well, now you’re not, and it’s the ideal time to sort them.

2. Browse some articles: Have a flick through relevant websites relating to your field. Who knows? You could end up coming up with a great idea in the process that scores you some brownie points with your manager.

3. Start a new task: Okay, this might not technically be slacking off, but you can always take a break from the boring tasks you’re currently working on in favor of something a bit more interesting to pass the time.

4. Listen to a podcast: There are plenty of career-related podcasts you could listen to, or you could just pretend you’re listening to one of those and binge your favorite comedy/true crime/whatever podcast instead. They’ll never know!

5. Speak to a coworker: Wrangle up your best jokes and have a 5-minute laugh-a-thon with your coworker to pass some time. In fact, laughing has been proven to increase your lifespan!

 📝 WEDNESDAY’S TO DO:

🕒 Time your tasks better. Try to notice what time of day you’re at your most productive. Then, start planning your days, leaving the easier tasks for when your energy levels naturally dip.

WELLNESS CENTRE

Start your day the right way

If you’re fed up with feeling tired and groggy every morning, it’s time to set up a solid morning routine. No more lounging in bed for half an hour — however tempting it might be.

If you like going for an early morning gym session, do it! Or take some time to write in a journal while you have a nice hot coffee. Setting up a routine will help put you in the right mindset for the day/week/month.
