THE BIG IDEA
Remember this ex-con? He’s a millionaire fashion model now
Have you seen this man? ❤️ You probably have. Jeremy Meeks, known online as Prison Bae, is set to publish a book this year.
If you don’t remember him (how can you not, though?), Jeremy rose to internet stardom back in 2014… thanks to an unusually dashing mugshot. When the Stockton Police Department posted the picture on Facebook, along with other mugshots, Jeremy’s received 15k likes in one day.
That’s basically what landed him a contract with White Cross Management. You know, the talent agency that discovered supermodels Gigi Hadid and Taylor Hill.
With his street gang days behind him, Jeremy now has an estimated net worth of USD 5M — as well as a memoir titled Model Citizen on the way. The autobiography will chronicle Prison Bae’s life from convicted felon to world-famous fashion model. Its key themes? Jeremy’s battles with poverty, gang violence and racism.
Will you add Model Citizen to your to-read list? We know we will.
OPINION
Do supplements really give you more energy? Here’s the truth!
Vitamin supplement companies have been around for decades. And they’ve always promised that their products are great energy boosters. Even Kourtney Kardashian jumped onto the supplement bandwagon this year!
But do these vitamins really do what they say on the box?
The truth is that vitamin supplements will only give you a boost if you actually have a vitamin deficiency. And while some vitamins like B12 do apparently increase energy, supplements are no magic cure. Vitamins should be taken alongside a healthy, balanced diet and a sensible exercise regime.

TODAY’S ADVICE
🏏 Knock your next interview right out the park
Job interviews can be intimidating and nerve-wracking, whether it’s your first-ever or your 10th of the week.
But they don’t have to be. With a little preparation, you’ll be able to ace your interview. And become one step closer to a job offer.
1. Do your prep. Learn as much as you can about the company, review the job description and find out who will be interviewing you.
2. Practice. Make a list of common interview questions and practice your answers with a trusted friend or relative 💬
3. Dress for success. Looking good contributes to feeling good. Make sure your outfit is clean, fits well and is appropriate.
4. Be on time. Aim to arrive 10–15 minutes before your interview. If you’re running late, make sure to call ahead.
5. Mind your body language. Smile, make eye contact and sit up straight. Don’t fold your arms, fidget or play with your hair.
6. Ask your own questions. Don’t leave them for the end of the interview, though — try to work them into the conversation. And don’t ask about 💰
7. Take notes. This shows that you’re interested and that you’re listening. Plus, it helps you remember all the information you learn.
8. Send a “thank you” note. This should be personalized to each interviewer. Reiterate your interest and be appreciative of the opportunity.
