TALKING POINT
Using AI as your personal assistant 🤖
AI has been a hot topic for a minute, with most celebrating its boom, but there’s still a vast amount of people who are scared that it’s coming for their jobs. But it’s physically impossible to replace a person with artificial intelligence — for the time being, at least.
🤔 So, how can we use AI to benefit our jobs?
AI can help you with basic tasks, like converting speech into meeting minutes or preparing an outline for a report. That said, it does make factual errors, so this is where your expertise comes in to review the content that it has created.
It can also help you with out-of-work tasks that you don’t have time for, like planning an exercise routine or a holiday itinerary. 🚀
So, while AI may sound scary, there’s a lot to celebrate around its launch. It’s about how we can adapt to use it for our own benefit.

TODAY’S ADVICE
How to disagree with your manager — the right way!
It’s natural to sometimes disagree with your supervisor’s opinion or way of doing things. But many of us keep our thoughts to ourselves or don’t speak up out of fear of being punished = getting fired 😱
But it’s okay to disagree with them — as long as you do so strategically:
Disagree, but don’t be disagreeable.
Make it constructive.
Don’t make it personal.
Pick the right time and place — and do it privately.
Provide alternatives and solutions.
Be selective — don’t disagree with them on everything.
Ask questions, and focus on results.
Move on once your manager makes a decision.
